Forte di Campolongo

This Italian fort was built from 1912 to 1914 as one of the most modern fortifications of that time. It was badly damaged by artillery and mortar fire in July 1915 and largely destroyed on 15 May 1916. The fort was captured not long after. The armament consisted of:

- Four 149mm gun turrets with an armour tickness of 180mm.
- Four 75mm B field guns.
- Four machineguns.
