This memorial, at the National Memorial Arboretum, commemorates all UK servicemen and women killed on duty since after the Second World War. There are 16,000 names on the memorial and there is room for another 15,000 names.
The servicemen were killed in Palestine, Malaya, Korea, Suez (Egypt), Cyprus, Indonesia, Aden, Northern Ireland, Falklands, Former Yugoslavia, the Gulf War, Iraq and Afghanistan.
The non-combat deaths are also mentioned.
