Museum Ship Minelayer "Nusret"

This Ottoman minelayer was built in 1911. It played a pivotal role during the Gallipoli Campaign (1915-1916). The "Nusret" eventually sank in April 1989 and lay submerged for 10 years. Its wreck was acquired by the Municipality of Tarsus for reconstruction ashore as a museum ship and opened in 2008.

A replica of the ship was made in 2011.
