Memorial Armenian Genocide

This memorial at the Forty Martyrs Armenian Cathedral commemorates the victims of the genocide on the Armenian people in 1915. On April 28, 2015, parts of the Forty Martyrs church compound were destroyed in a suspected terrorist bombing or artillery attack. The church itself survived the attack.
