Memorial Armenian Genocide

This memorial, ‘Mother Arising Out of the Ashes’, at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial, commemorates the victims of the genocide on the Armenian people in 1915. The people who managed to escape are also commemorated.
The statue was dedicated by Armenian families from California and is a replica of the original statue placed in the Ararat Eskijian Museum in Los Angeles.
