Memorial Bombardments Southampton
This memorial, at Holyrood Church, commemorates the German bombardments on Southampton during the Second World War.
As result of the bombardments, 630 people were killed and nearly 1900 were injured. 3589 building were destroyed and more than 40,000 damaged.
