Tokorozawa Aviation Memorial Park (Former Tokorozawa Airfield)

This park is dedicated to the Japanese aviation and is located on the former Tokorozawa airfield. This airfield was built in 1911 and was used by the Japanese army during both world wars. A museum and several memorials can be found here.

The park also includes a Curtiss C-46 produced in the period 1940-1945. This airplane was bought by the Japan Air Self-Defence Force (JASDF) after the war.
