First Bullet Memorial

This memorial commemorates Hasan Tahsin, a national Turkish hero. He tried to assassinate the Buxton Brothers in Romania during the First World War. It is also said that he have been the first to open fire on the Greek soldiers that landed at Smyrna (present day Izmir) on May 15, 1919.
