This tree (Topol groze) was located in the Ustaša camp Gradina (a satellite camp of Jasenovac), where many Serbs, Jwes, Roma and other prisoners, including about 300 Slovenians, were murdered in World War II.
The tree was used for torturing people. The tree still contains nails which were used to bind prisoners.
