Memorial Maurice Chastang
This plaque commemorates Maurice Chastang, major of Saint-Fort-sur-Gironde. On 23 September 1942, he was arrested by the Gestapo. He died in 1945 in Sachsenhausen-Oranienburg concentration camp.
