War Cemetery Chinese New 1st Army

This war cemetery contains the remains of 27.000 soldiers of the Chinese New 1st Army. This army fought in the Burma Campaign (1942-1945). The cemetery was demolished by the Communist authorities. Parts of the original complex are currently being used by locals. There were some repairs in the last years.
