Text on the plaque, in King’s Lynn Minster Church:
In memory of
Cpl. Darren Bonner
who gave his life on 28th May 2007 while serving on operations with the 1st Battalion the Royal Anglian Regiment in Helmand Province Afghanistan.
This plaque was erected by his fellow Vikings with the generous support of the people of East Anglia.
Son, brother, soldier, hero.
