From this location, the resistance-group Onkel Emil operated. The groep helped people who were chased by the Nazis and was started by Ruth Andreas-Friedrich and Leo Borchard, who also lived here.

Ruth Andreas-Friedrich was awarded by Yad Vashem as Righteous among the Nations.
