Remains Japanese Memorial Capture of Hong Kong
The construction of this enormous yet unfinished memorial for the Japanese losses in the Battle of Hong Kong in 1941 started in 1942. It was demolished by the Allied forces over a period of 2 years. Only the base can be seen today.
