Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Airport
This airport originated back to the early 20th century, when it was established by the Dutch "Bataafse Petroleum Maatschappij" company. It was re-used during the Japanese occupation and in July 1945 by the No. 16 Air Observation Post Flight RAAF.
