This archive owns several decorations and personal documents of Admiral Chan Chak (1892-1949). Chak played an important role during the Second World War, especially duringn the Battle of Hong Kong. He organised the 'Great Hong Kong Escape', in which a group of 68-72 British officials and officers managed to escape to Free China.
