Memorial Leon Jessel
The plaque commemorates the famour operette-composer Leon Jessel. He was of Jewish ancestry and lived here. Because of a letter found in his house, he was arrested on 15 December 1941.
On 4 January 1942, he died due to heavy torturing by the Gestapo.
