It is maintained by "Guernsey Armouries". Entrance is free.

The gun barrel is an original 220mm barrel that was recovered from the sea near Gun Battery Moltke on Jersey and is mounted on a reconstructed carriage using original drawings. The guns themselves were 1917 French manufactured guns captured at the fall of France. A refurbished FT-17 turret sits near the gun pit.
