Invasion Beach "White 1"
The U. S. Army 162nd Infantry Regimen landed here on 22 April 1944 as part of Operation Reckless.
Nowadays, the remains of several US landing vehicles recovered from the sea and a Sherman tank also coming from the sea can be seen here.
