T-34/76 Turret

There are numerous T-34/76 turrets, converted to memorials, spread across the city of Volgograd, indicating the location of former frontlines and other memorable places. The inscription on the memorial reads:

"Here in September - November 1942, the first line of defense of the Stalingrad Front was held."
