BL 6 inch 26 cwt Howitzer Kimberley

This is one of the six BL 6 inch 26 cwt Howitzers which returned from France after World War I. Each of these guns, which are spread across South Africa, commemorates a unit that was active in the First World War.
This howitzer at the Clyde N Terry Museum commemorates the dead of the 72nd (Griqualand West) Siege Battery.
