Polish War Graves Orthodox Cemetery

The cemetery was used by the German occupation force to burn the bodies of 1500 victims. There are also two Polish war graves. The first grave contains the remains of an unknown number of children murdered by the Germans on 5 August 1944 during the Warsaw Uprising. The second grave contains the remains of two priests and their wives who were murdered by the German occupation force on 5 August 1944.
