Monument Queen's Own Rifles of Canada

Monument for all Canadian soldiers from the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada who died during the European Campaign from D-Day to Wons on April 16, 1945. At Wons the last 6 soldiers of the Regiment fell. All names of the fallen are named on this monument.

Veterans of the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada had the explicit wish that the monument should be placed in Wons.

The text on the monument reads:
Honour Roll

To the memory of those members
of the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada
who paid the supreme sacrifice
in World War 2
1939 - 1945
We will remember them
