War Memorial Sarah

The text on the memorial is:

Sarah

Sarah is a memorial in remembrance of the Jewish men who stayed at the Jewish labour camp "Vanenburg" during the summer of 1942.

During the night of 2 October 1942 they were transported to Westerbork and from there to the death camps of Auschwitz and Sobibor.

The purpose of Sarah is to commemorate, to remember and to learn; what can You do to make this world a little better?

Sarah, with respect and regard for our Jewish friends.
