The name JEATH consists of the letters of Japan, England, Australia, Thailand and Holland, the countries the people came from who were involved in the contruction of the Burma-Siam-Railway.
The museum has some recontructed buildings of the camps. There are also photographs, drawings of POWs and weapons. The museum forms a good combination with the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre.
