Thailand-Burma Railway Centre

The Thai-Burma Railway Center, founded by Rod Beattie, opened in 2002. Their story can be found at http://www.tbrconline.com. This is indeed the single best place to learn the full and true story of the "DEATH RAILWAY".

The original JEATH museum to the east (not the second one near the Bridge) is also a poignant depiction of events of the era.
