Jersey War Tunnels

The Jersey War Tunnels, more than 1,000 meters long, are now a museum where you can learn about the conditions during the occupation of Jersey by the Germans in the Second World War. Much attention is paid to the fate of the remaining local population and Jersey's role as part of the Atlantic Wall.

The tunnels were constructed under horrible conditions by approximately 5,000 foreign forced laborers and served as a hospital, ammunition storage and shelter during bombings.

For current visiting hours, please visit the website of the museum.
