There are objects and components of salvaged plane wrecks to be seen from World War II, including a propeller from Avro Lancaster III JA902 JO-D of No. 463 Squadron RAF. This aircraft came down in the Noordoostpolder in the night of 2 to 3 January. Five of the crew members are buried in the Vollenhove cemetery. F/O Gage, P/O Symonds and F/Sgt. Toohey are still missing.
