Anti-Aircraft Gun Attu (War Memorial)

This anti aircraft gun was abandoned on the Attu island after the war. A plaque was attached to it and reads:

"A graceful nation remembers those who sacrificed to preserve freedom for Attu during WWII. This memorial is a testament to their courage and devotion dedicated on June 16, 199?"

The memorial also includes some Japanese plane parts.
