Crash Site Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero

This Mitsubishi A6M2 crashed here on 4 June 1942, after raiding Dutch Harbor. The pilot, Tadayoshi Koga, was killed but the plane was in good shape when the U.S. Army recovered it. The Zero was subjected to research and testing and gave good insight in these kind of warplanes.
