Crash Location P-38J-10-LO "Lightning" S/N 42-67638
This P-38 Lightning crashed here on 2 February 1945. The wreck was used as target practice until it was decided to place it in Hill Aerospace Museum. Restoration work lasted from 1994 to 1996.
