German War Cemetery Insterburg / Chernyakhovsk

This German war cemetery was conctructed during the First World War, with 556 German, 5 Rumanian and 165 Russian graves.

It was re-used in World War II for 1830 German graves. Later on, it was is set up for bringing German war graves from the Second World War of this region together. Until 2009, another 8,701 garves were brought here.
