Hindman Museum

This museum is located in the Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park and tells the story of the Battle of Prairie Grove, on 7 December 1862. The battle secured northwestern Arkansas for the Union.
The museum was bequested by Biscoe Hindman, the grandson of General Thomas C. Hindman who commanded the Confederate forces in the battle.
