Lloyd Tilghman House & Civil War Museum

This museum is dedicated to the American Civil War (1861-1865) and in special to Lloyd Tilghman, who lived with his family in the house from 1852 until 1861. At the time he was the Railroad engineer who built the first railroad into Paducah. He was a brigadier general for the Confederate States of America who was killed at the Battle of Champion Hill, on 16 May 1863.
