War Memorial Petersburg

This memorial (often referred to as the "Soldiers Memorial" or "Soldiers and Sailors Memorial") commemorates the residents of Petersburg who served in the Union and gave their lives in the American Civil War (1861-1865). Next to this monument are memorial stones for the people of Petersburg who gave their lives in other wars.
