This memorial on the grounds of the Audie Murphy American Cotton Museumcommemorates the residents of Hunt County who gave their lives in the First World War and the Second World War and the wars in Korea and Vietnam.

This memorial also commemorates Audie Murphy, the most decorated American serviceman in the Second World War.
