Fort Wint

Thsi fort on Grande Island is build by the Americans from 1907 to 1920, to defend the harbors of Manila and Subic Bay. During the Battle of Bataan, the fort was bombed by the Japanese but suffered little damage.
Afther the was, the two 10" (256 mm) guns were moved to Fort Casey for renovation and display. One 6" (152 mm) gun remained into the 1970s.
