Crown Hill National Cemetery

The National Cemeteries in the U.S.A. are used for graves of war dead, graves of U.S. military personnel, veterans and their spouses but not exclusively so. There are also special state veteran cemeteries.

Crown Hill National Cemetery was opened in 1866. There are in total 2,135 graves on this cemetery, with the last one being made in 1969 for Maj. Robert W. Hayes, an Air Force pilot killed in Vietnam..
