This museum is dedicated to the Red Army breakthrough of the Mious-front in the sumer of 1943. This heavily fortified defensive line was established in 1941 by the German army along the Mius river. By 1943, it had a range of 40-50 kilometers. The museum is part of the memorial complex "Mius-front".
