Former Execution Range Vinnytsia

This site was scene from 1937 and 1938 of the NKVD mass execution of more than 9,000 Ukranians and Ethnic Poles. It was discovered by the Germans in 1943, who launched a large scale investigation with the intention to use the evidence against communism. Today, there is a memorial located on the former execution range which is dedicated to the victims of the Stalinist terror.
