This Plaque at Betws-Y-Coed Information Centre has the following text:
Y STABLAU, NATIONAL PARK VISITORS CENTRA
(FORMERLY ROYAL OAK HOTEL STABLES)
1940 - 1945
Pupils of Dulwich College Preparatory School, London used this building as classrooms when evacuated to Betws-Y-Coed during the Second World War and were later associated with its restoration by Snowdonia National Park as a Visitors Centre 1980-1985.
