Knight (Sir/Dame)
The "Knight" is the form in which a British citizen can be knighted by the monarch. A person who is knighted can call him- of herself Sir of Dame. The are two forms to be knighted, either when the person already is a member of one of the British Orders of Chivalry or when one is not yet a member of a British Order of Chivilry.
