Militärverdienstkreuz 1.Klasse

The Militärverdienstkreuz 1st class was formed as a badge with a pin on the back.
First classes were not awarded before the 1870 war, although crosses can be found with earlier year of war. These however are 2nd class crosses that were originally awarded with a ribbon but were personally altered.
