Frontflugspange für Kampfflieger

The Frontflugspange für Kampfflieger und Sturzkampfflieger was instituted on 30th January 1941 in the grades bronze, silver and gold for 20, 60 and 110 operational sorties. Unti the institution of their own frontflugpange, this one was also awarded to Luftlanfde- and Transportflieger. On 26th June 1942 a hanger was introduced with the golden spange at 400 sorties for Sturzkampfflieger and 300 for Kampfflieger. A golden hanger with sorties number for every further 100 operational sorties was introduced on 29th April 1944.
