Biography
Mullins, a farmer, enlisted at Ft Knox, Kentucky on June 8th, 1940. He attended two military schools: Armored Force School, Gunnery course and the Parachute School. He was a specialized light tank crewman. Parachuted behind Utah beach on D-Day, was captured by the Germans and escaped, making it back to the Allied side. He was honorable discharged while attached to the Third Student Training Regiment, U.S. Army.
