Biography

In the resistance under the name ‘Uncle Wim’ and later a member of the Domestic Forces (BS). Was imprisoned in 1943 in the camps Amersfoort and Vught. In 1945, head of the Political Investigation Department (P.O.D.) in Drachten. He was also a reserve captain and retired with honourable discharge on 1 July 1950.
