1.) Participated in the capture of Brest-Litovsk (22.06.1941).
2.) Captured Slonim and prevented a breakout of Soviet forces from the Bialystok pocket (25.06.1941).
3.) Reached the southern edge of Minsk a mere five days after the start of the campaign (27.06.1941).
Arnim himself was wounded at Stolpce on the 28.06.1941, however he would later be awarded the Knight’s Cross while in hospital for the commendable achievements of his Division.
