Ernst Beutelspacher was born at Auerbach on July 21st, 1920.
He was placed with II. Schulgruppe, Lehrgeschwader 2 in May 1941. The unit was transferred to Schlachtgeschwader 1 as its II.Gruppe in 1942. In 1943 Beutelspacher was appointed as Staffelführer to be transferred with his II.Gruppe to Schlachtgeschwader 2 in October, where he was appointed command of 6.Staffel.
On July 22nd, Ernst Beutelspacher was shot down by an American fighter in his Focke-Wulff 190 at 1 kilometer of Focsari, Rumania over the Siret river. Beutelspacher lost his life in this.
