Biography

On May 6th 1940 he went as volunteer to the Artillerie-Ersatzabteilung 58, in Hamburg-Wandsbeck. In 1940 he was sent to France and in April 1941 to Jugoslavia. In May 1941 he went to Rumania and in June to the Soviet-Union. In 1943 he was sent to Italy on sick leave. After this he was placed with the Genesenbatterie of Artillerie-Regiment 22 in Verden. Other information is not yet known.
