Donald E. Freet lived most of his life in Tacoma, Washington. He was a Naval Aviator and flew a SB-2C (Curtiss Helldiver) of the aircraft carrier, U.S.S. Intrepid in the South Pacific. After the war, he married Marilyn Gilstrap of Tacoma and received his BA form the College of Puget Sound.
